It All Comes Down to Tomorrow

Eric is officially done with Primary!!!!!
Selections are tomorrow at 1:00 PM. At that time we arrive at the squadron building and we wait. There's some formatlities that they have to run through and then Eric may be the only Marine in VT-3 that's selecting. Each squadron does their own individual selections but their NSS (Naval Standardizition Score) is compared to all the other Marines selecting (Other squadrons located at Whiting and all other primary training wings elsewhere). As soon as we know something, there will be a mass text message sent out. We won't learn in great detail but we will learn where and when we need to be moved. Eric will have to go in the days following to check out and get more detail. I wanted to put up a quick summary of what Eric could get to help with any confusion.
1. Strike ---> Kingsville, TX or Meridian, MS
     ~ AV-8B - Harriers
     ~ F/A-18 - Hornet
     ~ AE-6 - Prowler
2. Helos ---> Whiting Field, FL (we stay here)
     ~ CH-46 - Phrogs / SeaKnight
     ~ CH-53 - SeaStallion
     ~ UH-1 - Huey
     ~ AH-1 - Cobra
3. Maritime ---> Corpus Christi, TX
     ~ C-130 - Hercules (what Fat Albert with the Blue Angels is)
4. Tilt-Rotor ---> Whiting Field, FL for first half of training then Corpus Christi, TX for second half
     ~ MV-22 - Osprey

So there's the breakdown of what the options are for tomorrow and where we may move next!
As of right now we're one of the last ones of our friend group to select (everyone else were flying the T-34's and move through quicker) and we have a friend in each location. So wherever we go, we'll already know someone!

That way if you see a picture you like you can just print it out and keep it! Plus I know everyone doesn't get of facebook (where I usually update everything) that often. It may take a bit because I'm looking to post all back pictures and future pictures as well!
