So I just got back from going to a friend's winging ceremony! It was nice and all I could think while sitting in the winging ceremony was, "In approximately one year, Eric should be here getting his wings and getting the official title of Marine Corps Pilot".
So far this week it's been pretty basic. Eric's been going to classes and taking tests. He's made 100's on all the tests and he said they're easy because everyone is able to sit around and talk about it while taking the test. He had his first simulation with an instructor but it wasn't graded. He had a "walk-around" today which means he walks around the T-45 with an instructor and he gets acquainted with the new plane.
We had momma Julie and Dylan come to visit last weekend and it was nice to have our first visitors here in Meridian. We had Dylan's new dog Nikki come too. It's a 3 month old German Shepard puppy and Nikki is going to be a BIG girl! She was already as tall as our girls and she hasn't even started "filling out" yet.
We did find a couple places in Meridian that are fun and will keep our search for great finds in Meridian for all future visitors!
