We also attempted sailing that day but didn't really get very far...not enough wind to actually sail! At least we got to sit in a boat and collect some hours to one day take out the 22' Catalina.
We also got to check out Fort Barrancas again and all it's furry friends (a bat)

After that visit we had Marvin and Uncle Tony. Once again...we attempted to sail but just sat in a 17' Hunter some more. I'm really ready for a windy day so we can actually sail in a sailboat!
We did have a great time at the Piano Bar that night and some great shrimp to top off the trip.
(By the way, you can turn off the music on the webpage by scrolling all the way down and hitting the pause button. That way you can watch the videos without the extra music/noise)
Now on to the weekend at Crystal River for Nolan's 40th birthday. Eric picked me up from work with the girls in the car and ready to go. We didn't actually get to Ocala until about 11:30 with the time change. We we're up early on Saturday to drive down to Crystal River. We arrived at the house then Melissa and I went for food while Eric and Nolan we're getting everything ready to go to 3 Sisters spring. (http://www.savethreesisters.org/)

We were even able to get the dogs onto the kayaks and paddle back out to 3 Sisters later that day!
The next morning (Sunday) was one of the best days though. We went with the "redfish whisperer" and although it was hot it was sooo much fun. We ended up catching 4 redfish. 2 -23 inch and 2 -26 inch.
Here's a quick video we put together to highlight the Crystal River weekend (all on the my new Flip, thank you Marvin). I'm working on trying to make a long one with the pictures included but I'm having a hard time getting the software and programs to match up. I'll figure it out so no worries...there will be a 30 min movie coming soon, haha! But this should hold you over till then.
